Jude Orakwe

Jude Orakwe is an alumnus of the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music, Rome, where he majored in Gregorian chant in 2008. He also holds a doctorate in ethnomusicology from Indiana University Bloomington in 2015. Presently, he lectures at the Music Department of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Anambra State, Nigeria. Founder of the George Handel Music Academy, Onitsha, Nigeria, he is also the pioneer director of the Shanahan Institute of Music of Onitsha Archdiocese, and the chairman of the Onitsha Archdiocesan Liturgical Music Commission.
